Getting involved with Farside Music:
Farside 2 is organised by a group of people who love music, and are committed to the aims of Farside. We get involved with the jobs that interest us. Sunday evenings are planned by individuals on a rota basis. At present there are about 8 of us.
Our committee meets monthly in Leicester, usually on the first Wednesday of the month to discuss and co-ordinate Farside activities. Anyone interested in the purpose of Farside 2 will be welcome to committee meetings (but phone first to check the meeting is still on).
The purpose of Farside 2 is fundamentally to provide opportunity for the performance of live acoustic music from around the world and for budding local talent. No-one is paid to organise Farside activities – we do it for the love of music.
